Rainbows in Hood River

For President’s Day weekend, we spent a few nights at the historic Columbia Gorge Hotel. They’re reasonably dog-friendly, as can be seen here.

We spent some time walking the dog along the Columbia River. On one occasion, we saw what looked like a bald eagle and a hawk lock claws and tumble mid-air.
