A simple Thanksgiving

This year we had a simple, relatively quiet Thanksgiving. We almost never travel for Thanksgiving anyway so staying in Portland and quarantining wasn’t so bad. We got the Thanksgiving special takeout from the Rose City Book Pub and ate with our quarantine buddies, Hendrik’s parents. It was nice to have an easy Thanksgiving meal because it would have been hard to make side dishes with a two month old baby trying to “help.”

Happy Thanksgiving from our little pumpkin! Orion, Nancy, and Nora on their way to dinner.

Pot of gold

Our nursery has a lots of windows with a beautiful view, which is good given how much time we spend in there. Today we had an intermittent rain storm.

From this photo, it looks like we only have two blocks to go to find a pot of gold. However during our dog walk, we did not come upon one.

Captain Baby

In keeping with out annual Star Trek Halloween costume tradition, Hendrik and Nora dressed up as Star Fleet officers for Halloween. We’re the proud parents of the first baby to become a Star Fleet Captain!

Captain baby is a very strict commander. If her orders are not immediately obeyed, she screams and kicks!
